Amber does an amazing job and always gets me in with my crazy schedule. She pays attention to detail when highlighting my hair and cuts it exactly the way I like it. I have gone to Amber for 2 years and I will continue for many years to come. I've got really weird hair. It's very thick and stands straight up. (insert your own joke, I've heard them all) I had been going to a "chop shop" where they break out the clippers, ask you what size guard you want and shear you like a sheep. It was quick and easy but my hair still stood up on end. I was about to give up and just shave my head. Then I decided to give it one last try and called Kelly at Designers on the Avenue. She took the time to listen to all my whining and moaning, then set me up with Kirby. Kirby is a bright, young, friendly girl with a positive attitude. When Kirby was done, I couldn't believe it! I looked so...well ...normal. Then I thought, "sure, looks good on the show room floor but what happens after I wash it?" It was the same...normal. I love you Kirby! Hey guys, if you don't believe "one haircut fits all" call Designers on the Avenue and ask for Kirby.
Cari is an amazing person on the inside and out. She made me feel so comfortable. My new style is excatly want I wanted. The color we selected is prefect. Thanks for a great experience. I left smiling ear to ear!

Finding someone that is good with hair, is a lot easier, than finding someone who cares. Juliet is that person. You will become her family, and she will not be happy with your hair, unless you are. Before Juliet moved, she even matched me up, with a stylist that she felt was a good match for me. She is also good, but not my Juliet.

I have and my whole family have been going to Amber for many many years and we could not ask for anyone better. She always does a great job!!!! If it is just my husband getting a hair cut or if I'm getting a cut and color. She is helpful with any questions I have and is more then willing to show me tricks of the trade to get my hair styled like the movie stars. I would recommend her to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jan never disappoints!! I walk out happy everytime!She knows what I want and gives me great advise if I'm thinking about a change! Always a great experience when I come in!!

I came in and had Kirby do a Brazilian Blowout for me. The outcome was AMAZING! My hair looks so much healthier! My frizz is gone and I don't rely on my straightener. I've only had it a few days, but I am more than pleased with the results. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to repair damage, cut styling time, and/ or make their look amazingly healthy. I received a Brazilian Blowout by Kirby and it was worth every penny! I have naturally wavy and frizzy hair and after I got it done, I haven't had to use a flat iron once. I received my Brazilian at the beginning of March and I'm still very pleased with the outcome. I definitely think every girl should do it! It cuts your "getting ready" time in half, guaranteed!
I have been going to Jan for several years and always look forward to the experience. I actually started going with my girlfriend, who started going there and ended up referred to Jan after one of the other stylists (who no longer works there) did a poor job with her hair, and Jan fixed her up for free! The wash house is a wonderful new addition - I think I would actually just go there sometimes to have an excuse to have her wash my hair! She is an amazing person, and an amazing stylist.
My awesome Designer and hair stylist, Kirby, is beyond amazing at what she does!! I've been going to her for quite some time, even before she started working at Designers on the Avenue which was quite awhile ago. I would highly recommend her if you are looking to have fabulous hair!! She's ALWAYS on the ball with all the current fads and trends and always leaves me very pleased with my hair!! From cuts to highlights/lowlights to all over colors to brazillian blowouts to extensions, you name it.. she is your woman!! Very impressed/satisfied with her quality work. You cannot go wrong with Kirby!! :-)
I have been going to Juliet for the past 4 months. I just adore her! She's very knowledgeable about products and styles; she's completely transformed my hair! I've gotten so many compliments not only on my hairstyle but my color as well. She really takes the time to know what I want and what I need to have an amazing style. I would definitely recommend her, especially if you're looking for something new!
I grew up in historic Havelock, I have been going to Designer's on the ave for 17 yrs and will continue going. The staff at Designers are wonderful. Cari is my Master Designer and she is fabulous, she has been in charge of my beauty needs for almost 10yrs. Designers is always on top of new and different trends and the color line is also fab. Thank you Kelly, Cari and Designer's staff for making my family beautiful!!! :)
