Roofing Service Company was started by brother in laws Sid Strand and Bill Van Velzen in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1958. Roofing Service Company was introduced to Lincoln Nebraska by Tracy (Sid’s grand daughter) and Travis Kerner in May 2014. We are building our business on clear, consistent communication and the idea that homeowners deserve to have their products installed correctly so they perform. We don’t need to be the biggest roofer in town. We just want to do it right. We are a Certainteed ShingleMaster, we take a test to prove we know how to install shingles and we’re also accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

ABOUT THE OWNER

Travis Kerner was born and raised in Tecumseh, Nebraska. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Industrial Distribution from the University of Nebraska, Kearney, 2001. He has been in the roofing and home exteriors industry since 2001. He continues to attend trainings to stay on top of industry trends and new technologies.
